MLS (Mobile Laser Scanning) in the city of Basel
The city of Basel is capturing sections of its road network using Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS). The automated, comprehensive as-built data collection in surveying quality has the significant advantage that traffic flow is not significantly impacted during this process. Point cloud and digital terrain model (DTM) calculations, as well as data export or transfer to planning systems, are performed using VESTRA.
