Expansion of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway (Nigeria)

For many years, Julius Berger Nigeria PLC (JBN) has been successfully handling infrastructure projects (road and railway planning, construction execution) in Nigeria. The Lagos State government awarded the first lot of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway expansion project, covering a total length of 7.2 km and a width of up to 100 meters. The contract was awarded to Julius Berger Nigeria PLC (JBN) with a construction period of 24 months. For the execution of this project, JBN also relied on VESTRA.

User feedback

„Very helpful and process-supporting are the intelligent tracking of the road axes and their correspondence with the widths in the deck book. Without the ability to apply and vary multiple gradients within the deck book/height reference, the complex standard cross-section could not be implemented in a timely manner. The flexibility in handling the alignment, cross-section, deck, and height plans, as well as in mass optimization and infrastructure planning, allows for timely and qualified statements about the feasibility of changes and additional customer requirements. Thus, VESTRA is an essential tool for project management in the Lagos-Badagry Expressway projec“
